NABH Accreditation of CARI, New Delhi
The Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI), New Delhi is a peripheral unit under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), dedicated to advancing Ayurvedic research and healthcare. On October 6, 2022, CARI achieved a significant milestone by receiving NABH Accreditation, a testament to its commitment to quality healthcare and excellence in service delivery. The institute successfully completed its mid-term surveillance, further affirming its adherence to the highest standards of healthcare and operational practices. This achievement underscores CARI’s role as a leading center for Ayurvedic innovation and patient care.

NABL:
The Clinical Laboratory at Central Ayurveda Research Institute, New Delhi, received M(EL)T accreditation from National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) on 13 March 2023.
Building upon this achievement, the laboratory now plans to pursue accreditation under ISO 15189 :2022 through NABL in the current year.
This institute has also achieved NABL accreditation obtained for pathology and bio-chemistry labs on 13.03.2023.
- The institute is recognized for PhD from Datta Meghe deemed to be university, Wardha, Maharastra in subjects- Kayachikitsa, Shalya, Basic principles.
- This institute is running Panchkarma Technician Training Course accredited to Health Care Sector Skill Council since 2019-20
- The Central Ethics Committee of CCRAS is also registered under DHR (Department of Health Research), ICMR.
- MoUs have been done for the collaborative projects with AIIMS, New Delhi, Safdarjung hospital, Delhi, AIIA, Sarita vihar, Delhi, ILBS, Delhi


BIS:
CCRAS-CARI, New Delhi successfully completed 1st surveillance audit of BIS without any non- conformities(NC’s) subsequent to BIS Certification on 09/02/26-10/02/26.
