The CCRAS - CARI New Delhi institute is registered under the SOCIETIES REGISTRATION ACT OF 1860 w.e.f. 29/07/2011 as a peripheral institute of CCRAS. The institute is housed in a rented building covering approximately 2 acres. The Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony for the upcoming building of Central Ayurveda Research Institute, New Delhi at FC-5, Block A, Sector 28, Rohini, Delhi led by the Hon'ble Prime Minister was held on 05.01.2025. The new campus in Rohini is a ground breaking development, spanning 2.92 acres and representing an investment of ₹187.15 crore

Brief Introduction
The CARI New Delhi institute is registered under the SOCIETIES REGISTRATION ACT OF 1860 w.e.f. 29/07/2011 as a peripheral institute of CCRAS. The institute is housed in a rented building covering approximately 2 acres. The Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony for the upcoming building of Central Ayurveda Research Institute, New Delhi at FC-5, Block A, Sector 28, Rohini, Delhi led by the Hon’ble Prime Minister was held on 05.01.2025.
The new campus in Rohini is a ground breaking development, spanning 2.92 acres and representing an investment of ₹187.15 crore.The facility will feature state-of-the-art infrastructure, including:
- Four Main Blocks: Administrative Block, 17 Outpatient Department (OPD) Block, Inpatient Department (IPD) Block, and a dedicated Treatment Block.
- Specialized Clinics: Geriatrics, Paediatrics, ENT, Arthritis, Preventive Cardiology, and Eye care.
- Traditional Treatments: Panchakarma, Kshara Sutra (medicated thread therapy), and Jalukavacharana (leech therapy).
- Modern Amenities: Advanced diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, clinical laboratories, physiotherapy units, and a well-equipped library.
- The project is set to be completed within 30 months, enhancing the integration of Ayurveda into mainstream healthcare and establishing CARI as a global leader in the field.

CCRAS
The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) is an autonomous body of the Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy), Government of India. It is an apex body in India for the formulation, coordination, development and promotion of research on scientific lines in Ayurveda and Sowa-Rigpa system of medicine.
